About

Senior US engineers, one niche, no invented promises

Who we are

Bindmatic is a US engineering company that builds and operates production AI systems. The people who build your agent are senior software engineers, based in the United States, who have shipped agentic systems that run unattended on live business data. We are not a marketing agency with an AI page, and we are not an offshore build shop with a US sales office.

Why independent commercial-lines agencies

Independent agencies have been promised automation for a decade and have mostly received chat widgets. Meanwhile the hours go into the same places they always did: chasing renewals, issuing certificates, keying submissions, and triaging service email. Industry surveys report that most agencies plan to increase their use of AI while only a small minority have actually put it to work (Applied Systems and Liberty Mutual agency surveys, 2025 and 2026). The gap is not intent. It is that the useful workflows cross the AMS, the carrier portals, the inbox, and the document system, and nobody productizes that.

We chose commercial lines deliberately. Personal-lines renewals are a well-served, per-policy product market. Commercial accounts carry layered coverage, multiple carriers, contract-driven certificate requirements, and judgment calls, which is exactly where a senior engineer building against your real book earns the fee.

We chose the AMS as the home for everything we build because your team already lives there, your E&O trail already lives there, and your reports already read from there.

What we believe

  • The agent drafts, a licensed person decides. Always.
  • Accuracy is measured on your book, not on a demo.
  • If a workflow can be done by a feature your AMS vendor ships, buy the feature. We will tell you when that is the case.
  • You own the code. A services firm that needs lock-in to keep a customer is not confident in its work.

How we are paid

Hourly, on a time-and-materials basis, for project engagements and staff augmentation. No percentage of premium, no per-policy fees, and no rates published on a website; scope and cadence come out of a conversation and are confirmed in writing before work starts. We do not take referral fees from AMS vendors, carriers, or rating platforms.

No case studies yet

We are new under this name, and we do not yet have public case studies with agency names on them. Our first engagements are structured to make that a good trade for both sides: ask about a reference-customer arrangement when you get in touch.
